Case similar to killing of Mysuru RSS worker
Mysuru: The murder of RSS worker Rudresh in Bengaluru is similar to the killing of RSS worker Raju in Mysuru, highly placed sources in the police department told Deccan Chronicle.
But they are not sure whether there is any connection between the two murders.
The prime accused in Raju murder case, Abid Pasha, who is in jail, reportedly worked for the Popular Front of India, the sources said. After the arrest of Abid Pasha and his associates, Mysuru City Police Commissioner B. Dayanand had said that Abid had confessed that they killed Raju on March 19 to seek communal vengeance.
Abid is allegedly involved in nine murders and four attempts to murder since 2008, including five murders and two attempts to murder in Mysuru. All the eight people who were murdered and four others who survived were reportedly associated with pro-Hindu organisations.
