Hyderabad: Cab drivers found dead in own cars
Hyderabad: Decomposed bodies of two cab drivers were found in their vehicles at Shamshabad and Jeedimetla on Tuesday morning. In both the instances, the Cyberabad police did not find any external injuries on the bodies of the deceased but registered two separate cases of suspicious death for the probe.
At Jeedimetla, the body of N. Vijay Kumar, 40, a cabbie residing in the same area was found. His family members had lodged a missing complaint on Monday as Vijay was not answering phone calls.
At 8 am on Tuesday, walkers at HMT ground sensed foul smell coming from a car and peeped inside to see the body of Vijay. They alerted the police.
In a similar incident at Shamshabad under RGI Airport police station limits, another cabbie was found dead in his car near Annapurna crossroads area.
The RGIA police said the deceased, identified as Mallesh, 40, was a resident of Jawaharnagar in Secunderabad. He used to ply from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Three days ago Mallesh left home and did not return. As he was not in possession of a mobile phone, his family members could not contact him.
On Tuesday morning, his family members found the car at the roadside. They opened the car to see his decomposed body on the rear seat.
