A native of Assam, Ali, aged 24 years, committed suicide by hanging in his rented house allegedly in a fit of rage after a quarrel with his wife Priyanka.
Nizamabad: Depressed over his job not being regularised, a home guard recorded his suicide note on video, before hanging himself at Yellareddy on Monday.
The suicide victim was identified as Shiva, 28. In the video clip, he bid goodbye to his family members and said that he was resorting to this extreme step as home guard posts in the police department were not being regularised.
He said that people had hoped for a bright future in the newly-formed Telangana state but this was not to be so. Financial problems forced him to end his life, the suicide note said.
Shiva is survived by his wife and a daughter. He asked his family members to forgive him for the step. Police shifted body for post mortem and registered a case.
