Hyderabad: Deaf-mute Woman Raped Inside Bathroom in Vijayanagar Colony

Hyderabad: A woman who is deaf and mute was raped by a local in Vijaynagar Colony. The accused has been identified as Sai, who lives in Vijayanagar Colony. He reportedly raped the victim inside a bathroom, the police said.

The victim, who is mute could not even shout for help. The family members of the victim lodged a complaint with the police.

The accused Sai, has been taken into custody and the victim has been sent for medical examination and counseling, police said
