Hyderabad: Two persons among the four who were riding a bike were killed in an accident in Ranga Reddy district on Thursday night. The mishap occurred when the bike they were riding rammed into a car coming from the opposite direction.
The dead are Golla Raghu, 22 and Jaggappa, 20, while their friends Boyini Pandu and Ramesh escaped with injuries.
Basheerabad police said the victims, all residents of Mathan-palli village, were going towards Basheerabad on a bike. When their bike reached Narayanpur Gate the rider lost control and rammed into a car. As both the vehicles were moving at high speed, two of the bikers were killed on the spot due to serious injuries on the head. The other two who were on the pillion suffered minor injuries.
There were four passengers in the car at the time of the incident and they too suffered minor injuries. Police registered a case of accidental death and inflicting injuries and handed over the bodies after post-mortem.
