Hyderabad: Nigerian held with cocaine

Hyderabad: In a joint operation the North Zone Task Force and the Golconda police nabbed a Nigerian drug peddler and seized 20 grams of cocaine and three cellphones from him. The arrested man was identified as Ugochukw Chukwuebuka God Power alias God Power, 25. “He came to India on a business visa and was in the garments business. He used a Nigerian dialect to communicate with others and delivers drug to consumers from Goa and Mumbai through drug peddlers,” said DCP B. Limba Reddy.

“Earlier, he stayed at Delhi and Hyderabad and due to financial problems he started peddling drugs. He was earlier involved in NDPS Act cases and was remanded to judicial custody. Later, he was released from Chanchalguda Jail and he started peddling again," added the DCP. On Thursday, he came to Seven Tombs in Golconda in order to deliver cocaine to a customer when the Task Force arrested him. God Power was handed over to Golconda police.
