Nellore: Teams formed to probe into robbery case

Nellore: Police have formed several teams to track down the unidentified gang that robbed nearly 100 sovereigns of gold, 7 kg silver and Rs 3 lakh cash from the house of former Agriculture Marketing Society chairman Haranath at Lawyerpeta in the early hours of Tuesday.
The theft took place when the inmates of the house were away from home. Police, led by Ongole I Town CI Subba Rao, examined the house along with clues team after registering a case on Monday.
Prakasam district SP Siddharth Kaushal also inspected the house and elicited information from the neighbours and his men.
He expressed confidence in nabbing the gang in the next few days.
