Bengaluru: K.T. Naveen Kumar, arrested for his alleged role as a gunrunner in the murder of journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh, has approached the Sessions Court seeking bail. Justice Ramalingegowda adjourned the bail plea after the prosecution sought time to file objections. The accused has sought bail, claiming that it is a false case. Also, the SIT has already filed the charge sheet, but has not produced evidence before the court, he stated. The case was adjourned to June 21.
