Hyderabad: Yesteryear actress and former Congress MP Vijayashanti approached police on Saturday claiming that a pair of diamond earrings had gone missing from her home. The estimated worth of the earrings is around
Rs1.5 lakh.
Ms Vijayashanti’s manager, Prasad, lodged the police complaint on her behalf. Sources said that three domestic helps, who were working at the Banjara Hills home, are now being questioned by police.
The former MP noticed the earrings missing two days ago. “We have received the complaint and we are verifying all the facts and will proceed as per evidence uncovered,” Banjara Hills Inspector K. Srinivas said.
