Body of Telangana worker brought back from Bahrain

Guvvala Mallesh met with a road accident on Sunday and died while undergoing treatment.

Hyderabad: The body of a worker from Nizamabad district, who died in a road accident in Bahrain, was brought back to Hyderabad on Thursday with the help of the Telangana Jagruthi. President of Telangana Jagruthi in Gulf countries Chellamshetty Hari Prasad told media that worker Guvvala Mallesh met with a road accident on Sunday and died while undergoing treatment.

“The deceased is from Hussain Nagar village of Sirikonda mandal in Nizamabad district. We, along with Patkuri Basa-nth Reddy, took the initiative to shift the body to Hyderabad,” he said. Mr Hari Prasad said Mallesh was working with Al-Haliya company. “We have tried to send the body to India as early as possible. But, the paper wo-rk was taken up by the officials on Monday. The Telangana Jagruthi submitted the papers to Al-Haliya office. On Thurs-day at 9.25 am, we shifted the body in Gulf Air cargo,” he said.

IT and NRI affairs minister K.T. Rama Rao took the initiative for clearances from the embassy in shifting the body to India as early as possible. Mr Patkuri Basanth Reddy handed over the body to the family members of the deceased on Thursday. Telangana NRI Cell officials arranged an ambulance from RGIA to Nizamabad.
