Vijayawada: A missing minor girl was found hanging from a tree under suspicious conditions on the outskirts of Vibharinthalapadu village in Krishna district on Monday. According to reports, the girl who belongs to Eturu village of Chandarlapadu mandal, went out from her house on Sunday evening at 3 pm but did not return at night.
The parents and relatives of the girl took part in the search operation and found her body. They suspected that the girl was raped and killed. But no clues were available at the spot. Chandarlapadu SI Durga Prasad visited the spot and the girl's body was shifted for post-mortem. It is learnt that the police took three persons into custody and an inquiry is on.
