BENGALURU: Two drunk men were arrested by the Kodigehalli police for biting a constable’s hand when he questioned them for creating nuisance in public late on Saturday night.

The accused have been identified as Roshan Raja, 33, a resident of Malleswaram, and Girish, 31, a resident of Hebbal.

Around 1 am, a few men had gathered near a bar and were fighting and cursing each other.

The Kodigehalli sub-inspector and a constable, who were on rounds, noticed the fight and questioned the troublemakers for creating public nuisance.

Roshan and Girish, who were part of the group, got angry and attacked constable Shantalinga.

Roshan bit the left hand of the constable and tore his uniform and tried to escape. Both the sub-inspector and the constable chased the accused and arrested them immediately. The Kodigehalli police have registered a case.
