The victim, Gadde Praveen Kumar, 32, working with Tech Mahindra, was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died in Miyapur.
A total of 672 pedestrians perished in road accidents in the first nine months of this year.

These were the last words a techie, who was killed in an accident, told his father before he breathed his last. The victim, Gadde Praveen Kumar, 32, working with Tech Mahindra, was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died in Miyapur on Friday morning. Praveen had got married three months ago.
Around 3 am, he completed his shift and was returning home on his scooter. When he reached Allwyn X Roads, an unindentified vehicle hit him from behind and after he fell down, the vehicle ran over him. Passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. A hunt is on to trace the killer.
