Hyderabad: While the Cyberabad police is investigating the murder of TRS leader Vallabhaneni Srinivas Rao, former MLA and senior Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy asked the police to arrest the accused. The police has reportedly apprehended three persons, including the plot owner where Srinivas Rao was found murdered, for their alleged involvement in the murder. Mr Shashidhar Reddy blamed the police for not taking action on the complaints filed by the deceased.
“There were earlier incidents when the deceased was assaulted by his own party men. Had all these incidents been handled seriously, the murder may not have happened,” said Mr Reddy. Meanwhile, the police has apprehended four persons including a local leader and a close aide of a corporator, in connection with the case. Police, however, did not disclose any details, citing that the investigation is underway.
