Hyderabad: The personnel of the Anti-Corruption Bureau trapped Ghouse Khan, a sub-inspector serving at Asifnagar police station, while taking a bribe.
The sub-inspector was caught red-handed on September 17 near the police station when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a complainant Mohammad Manzoor-ul-Hassan in order not to harass him or register a case against him. The complainant supplies panmasala to the panshops in Asifnagar. The accused cop was arrested and produced before the special judge for ACB.
