Hyderabad: 3 held for duping people with jobs
Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police book three individuals on Thursday for duping the public on the pretext of providing them jobs in the railways.
According to the police, the trio had collected more than Rs 17 lakh from unsuspecting victims by luring them with job offers.
The arrested have been identified as Venkateshwar Reddy, Shiva Kumar and Rajesh, all residents of Hyderabad.
“They were cheating people by luring them with job opportunities in the Indian Railways for the posts of electrician’s , ticket collectors and others,” said K. Srinivas, police inspector of Banjara Hills.
Based on a complaint received from Naresh Kumar Yadav and other victims, Banjara Hills police booked a case under relevant sections, arrested the trio and sent them to judicial remand.
