Bengaluru: A 32-year-old woman has filed a complaint against the managing director of her company, accusing him of sexually harassing her.
The woman, who works at the company in Peenya, has filed the complaint against MD Girish Palaskar and another employee Venugopal.
The victim alleged that she has been working with the company for the last couple of years and six months ago she was told to work under Girish. She alleged that Girish had been sexually harassing her since she joined work and touched her inappropriately when no one was around. She charged that he often asked her to meet him alone and asked her to cooperate with him to get a promotion and a hike.
When she complained to her group leader Venugopal, he told her that it was common and asked her to meet his demands.
Later, she approached Peenya police and filed the complaint. The police have issued a notice to the accused asking them to be present for the investigation.
