Hyderabad: A man allegedly killed his wife just four days after their wedding for not serving food in time in Mahbubnagar. The suspect R. Anjaneyalu, 28, hit his wife with a pestle on the head. The victim, G. Parijatha, was taken to a hospital, where she died. The incident occurred on Sunday night. “Anjaneyalu became angry when his wife did not serve dinner on time. He hit the victim on the head with a pestlr,” a cop said.
Neighbours found the victim on the ground with a head injury. They rushed her to hospital, where doctors declared her dead after a few hours. The police arrested Anjaneyalu and booked a case. who has been taken into custody. Anjaneyalu and Parijitha had got married on Wednesday. Anjaneyalu is actually maternal uncle of Parijitha and they got married after their parents pressured them, police said.
