Hyderabad: A 23-year-old woman committed suicide in Sindhi colony on Sunday morning. Police said M. Narmadha, a receptionist at a hotel, hanged herself in her hostel room in Sindhi Colony. Police did not find any suicide note from her room. Narmadha, a divorcee, was living with her sister. The incident occurred when her sister was not in the room, police said.
Police said Narmadha, a native of Kammam district, was married on April 26, 2012. “She got a divorce six months after the wedding. She moved to Hyderabad and started working in a company in Banjara Hills. Recently she got the job in a hotel in Secunderabad,” said a police inspector. Police said Narmada had been depressed for a while.
