Sunitha didn't carry her phone when she left home
Hyderabad: Police found that the murdered K. Sunitha did not take her phone when she left home on Wednesday. She was also seen on the pillion of a Kinetic Honda in a CCTV image found by cops. Police said she had given her mobile phone for repair, but had carried two SIM cards with her, out of which one got burnt. Using the second one police identified her after her charred body was found in Bhagyanagar colony on Wednesday. Investigations also revealed that Sunitha took leave from office on Tuesday and Wednesday saying that a relative had passed away. Police is now analysing her emails and her WhatsApp conversations which she had copied and sent as mail to an email ID reportedly belonging to a man.
Sources said one of her relatives who is also working for Monster.com accessed Sunitha’s email, and found the picture of an unidentified male in an attachment in one of the mails sent to an email ID. WhatsApp conversations from her mobile phone were also copied and sent to the same email ID. However, the suspect was not identified, police said. Police said her whereabouts on Tuesday and Wednesday were crucial in the investigation along with her call records. “We are analysing the call records but nothing suspicious was found. We are checking her emails for clues to find the suspect,” police said.
Sunitha returns home every day by 9 pm, but on Tuesday she reached home only at around 10 pm. On Wednesday while leaving for office, when her elder sister Sridevi said that she will pack lunch, Sunitha avoided it saying that lunch would be provided at office. Sources at her workplace told the police that though they did not find any stranger dropping or picking her up from office, she used to be on the phone for long durations and never told anything about that to her colleagues. None of them knew much about her as she had joined Monster.com only a month ago. Sunitha, a resident of Banslilalpet in Secunderabad, was working as a telecaller in monster.com's Ameerpet branch. Her burnt body was found in Madhapur on Wednesday.
