Hyderabad: Hyderabad SHE teams caught a whopping 26 individuals — including seven minors — and an Airport employee for harassing women during Ganesh immersions across the city. The arrested persons include six students.
Lade Vijay Krishna, working as an electrician at the airport was caught teasing girls at Secunderabad when decoy cops nabbed him. An inebriated S. Ramesh, 31, was held for harassing a woman at Safilguda. When her husband intervened, Ramesh tried to attack him.
Seven others were arrested at Secunderabad and three at Tankbund. Three minors were nabbed at Lakdi ka Pul.
Three other persons were caught at Lumbini park, one at the Telugu Talli flyover, one at Amberpet while three students and five others were arrested in the Old City area for harassing women.
The accused were placed under arrest and the cops charged them with creating nuisance. They will be produced in court soon by authorities.
