Hyderabad: Accused in sudanese murder held
Hyderabad: In connection with the murder of Sudan national, Abdul Basheer alias Rashes, the Rajendranagar police arrested another Sudan national and his girlfriend on charges of murder. However, further details about the victim Sudanese remains a mystery with his passport still untraceable.
During the intervening night of August 14 and 15, Abdul Basheer alias Rashes, 24, was killed by Abdul Mohammed alias Abdul Afroz, 28, and his girlfriend Jenny alias Lissa, 23, of Shillong in Meghalaya, following a quarrel on disturbing their privacy being a roommate.
The Rajendranagar police who have been searching for the passport of the victim could only find that he was a student at a private college in Abdullapurmet, and got the passport in 2016. The accused Abdul is a graduate student at Nizam College and his girlfriend, are unemployed.
“With help of a leader of Sudan nationals union in the city, we have been able to only find a few particulars about the deceased. His passport still remains to be untraced. The body of Rashes is preserved at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary, till his Embassy comes in contact or any of his family members,” said Rajendranagar inspector G Suresh.
The inspector said that Abdul Mohammed and his girlfriend Lissa have been arrested under section 302 r/w 34 of IPC, and were remanded to judicial custody on Thursday, he said.
