Hyderabad: Juvenile, pal nabbed with 15 stolen bikes
According to the police, the juvenile, 17, committed seven offences in Nacharam, three in LB Nagar, two in Chaitanyapuri and one in Uppal.
Hyderabad: Nacharam police on Tuesday apprehended a juvenile and his associate for bike theft. Fifteen bikes were recovered from the duo.
According to the police, the juvenile, 17, committed seven offences in Nacharam, three in LB Nagar, two in Chaitanyapuri and one in Uppal. The crime team collected technical clues and apprehended the boy, who confessed to having sold the bikes to his relative V. Raju, 22, for sale at cheaper prices in nearby villages. Based on the confession, the team recovered the 15 bikes.
The owners of two bikes among those recovered are yet to be identified. A false key was used in the theft. The juvenile is a repeat offender, previously apprehended by LB Nagar police for similar violations.
