ANANTAPUR: A passenger from the Padmavati Express train suffered serious injuries after two other passengers pushed him out of the moving train near Gooty in the district on Friday.
Ramesh Kumar of Kummavaeipalle in PTM mandal in Annamayya district was travelling by Padmavati Express when he saw two passengers quarrelling for a seat in the general bogie. Ramesh interfered to resolve the issue, however, the two passengers pounced on him and pushed him out of the moving train.
Ramesh who suffered serious injuries called 108 ambulance. He was shifted to Gooty Hospital. Railway police registered a case based on Ramesh’s statement.
