Jubilee Hills gangrape: Potency test on accused positive

The OGH forensic department submitted a report stating that they were mentally and physically fit and were sexually potent

Hyderabad: The Osmania General Hospital forensic science department has stated that the potency test administered on the accused in the May 28 Jubilee Hills minor gangrape case was positive, according to police sources. The accused were administered the test on June 10.

After examining the accused, the OGH forensic department on Thursday submitted a report to the investigation officer stating that they were mentally and physically fit and were sexually potent, police sources revealed

The report stating that the accused were sexually potent was stated to be very important as it certified that the accused were medically capable of indulging in sexual intercourse. It will act as an exhibit during prosecution and will be crucial evidence to be used against the accused, a police officer confirmed.
