Hyderabad: A 22-year-old private schoolteacher who went out to purchase groceries was allegedly kidnapped by a biker at Mailardevpally on Wednesday.
Police said the biker dragged Archana on to his bike and sped away. Police registered a kidnap case. Archana was a resident of Rajendranagar and was working at a nearby private school.
On Wednesday night at around 8.30 pm, she went to the kirana shop in front of her house to buy some things.
“When she was purchasing things from the shop an unknown man dragged her to his bike and sped away towards the main road along with her,” Mailardevpally inspector A. Sudheer Kumar said quoting her parents.
Based on a complaint from her father a kidnap case was registered. The police is checking call data records and CCTV footages in the area.
