Hyderabad: Following a complaint from his second wife, former director of Hathway digital Ch Rajasekhar was arrested by Gachibowli police on grounds of cheating, harassment, and assault.
Serilingampally resident E. Sailaja lodged a complaint on April 26 alleging that her husband Ch Rajasekhar had cheated her. She said that she had divorced her husband in 2015 and that Rajasekhar told her then that he had divorced his first wife, too.
The two got married in Bengaluru in 2016. A year later, Rajasekhar reportedly harassed Sailaja for additional dowry for which, she pledged all her gold and gave him `1.2 crores. However, she then went on to find that Rajasekhar was not a divorcee. She further alleged that Rajasekhar had even molested and assaulted her.
