Vijayawada: A student, S. Partha-sarathy alias Parthu, studying Class V in a private school at Prasadampadu, went missing on Monday. Police registered a case following a complaint by his parents on Tuesday and began searching for him.
According to the Patamata police, Parthu went to the school on Monday but did not return home.
School principal B. Hari said that all the students left the institution after the classes.
When Parthu did not reach home even after the usual time he does every day, his parents went to the school and enquired. They asked his friends and neighbours also about Parthu. On getting a reply in the negative from all quarters, they lodged a complaint.
The Patamata police started searches to trace out the missing boy by registering the case.
