The victim has also alleged that the SIT members have taken away the contract of their rented flat in Ernakulam.

Thrissur: The victim of the Wadakkanchery gang rape has filed a plaint against the special investigation team (SIT) alleging torture by investigation officers. The victim has mentioned in the complaint submitted to Wadakkanchery Magistrate Court that she and her husband was questioned as many as nine times but the four accused persons including CPM councilor P N Jayanthan were not even interrogated once as a part of the fresh investigation led by ACP G Poonguzhali.

The victim has also alleged that the SIT members have taken away the contract of their rented flat in Ernakulam and had been doing character assassination of the victim by visiting the residents near the flat. Though the victim was asked to be present for questioning at Thrissur on Thursday, she refused to turn up before the SIT members and filed the plaint with the court instead.
