Kerala High Court had came down on B A Aloor

The special prosecutor had submitted that Aloor had quarrelled with the trial court magistrate

Kochi: Defence lawyer B. A. Aloor had come in for rebuke by the high Court for raising “defamatory and scandalous remarks” about the late Soumya and even others who had no connection with the case. "We do not understand why the court below (fast track) had permitted adv Aloor to put questions containing defamatory and scandalous remarks... the ordeal of the deceased continued even after her death in the form of such cross-examination by falsely imputing allegation of immorality. Character assassinations have been done by way of such cross-examination against the innocent victim and other persons”, the high court observed.

The court flayed Aloor and directed the High Court Registrar General to forward the copy of the judgment to the Bar Council of Kerala and Bar Council of India for taking proper action against him. The special prosecutor had submitted that Aloor had quarrelled with the trial court magistrate when he attempted to restrict such questions.
