Hyderabad: A 35-year-old security guard working at the Blue Fox Restaurant died under suspicious circumstances. Hotel staff found the guard, Sheikh Ibrahim, lying in a pool of blood and informed his family.
Police said Ibrahim joined the restaurant as a security guard three months ago. On Wednesday evening, he left home to work in the night shift. He was deployed on the third floor of the hotel. Early on Thursday at around 3 am the field officer of the hotel noticed Ibrahim’s body lying in a pool of blood.
He immediately called Ibrahim’s wife Rashmi and informed her about the incident. Based on her complaint a suspicious death case was registered at the SR Nagar police station.
“She is suspecting foul play in her husband’s death. We did not find any clues at the spot. We are inquiring into details. Based on facts, we will proceed,” SI Ajay Kumar of SR Nagar police said. Ibrahim is survived by his wife and two sons. The body was handed over to his family after post-mortem.
