Hyderabad: Labourer alleges gangrape
Hyderabad: A 28-year-old woman, working as a daily wage earner, has alleged that she was raped by four unidentified men in Jeedimetla on Sunday night.
According to the police, the woman, a resident of Dundigal, had come to Shapur along with her husband.
When they were returning home after the work, the suspects came in an auto rickshaw and offered to drop them home. They diverted the vehicle towards the jungle in the HMT area and raped her. They tied the husband on a tree.
After the rape, the suspects made their escape good. The couple filed a complaint on Monday.
" We have registered a case and have sent the victim for medical examination. Further investigations are on." said Jeedimetla inspector C Shankar Reddy.
The woman is reported to have married twice and has a child. She left her former husband and was staying with the present husband whom she married two months ago. This is also the second marriage of her present husband.
