Hyderabad: City police investigating the TSPSC question paper leak have prima facie found that in addition to the question paper for the post of assistant engineer (AE), the main accused Pulidindi Praveen was in possession of question papers for the recruitment tests of at least three more posts.
However, while he managed to leak the question paper for the AE exam, his alleged plans to leak other papers were foiled with his arrest, senior officials said.
The pen drive seized from him gave the breakthrough. Senior officials monitoring the investigation said they are in the process of confirming the findings.
It was found that Praveen had accessed the computers in the confidential section and, using the credentials, transferred the question papers to the pen drive. To his luck he found a folder named ‘question paper’ in the computer accessed through the LAN system and transferred the folder into the pen drive.
When he accessed the driver on his laptop, he was shocked that he had all question papers.
He successfully sold the question paper for AE. Encouraged with its success, he started looking out for potential buyers, which blew the lid and the issue was in the news.
