Vanasthalipuram robbery case solved with arrest of four 

HYDERABAD: In a joint operation, special teams of central crime station (CCS), L.B. Nagar and special operation team (SOT) Rachakonda on Monday solved the Vanasthalipuram robbery case with the arrest of four persons from whom they recovered Rs 18 lakh cash and a Mercedes Benz car.

The accused had intercepted MRR wines owner Venkat Reddy and Harish Reddy in Autonagar on January 6. After attacking the physically they fled with Rs 25 lakh that fell on the ground during the assault while another Rs 25 lakh was
intact in Venkat Reddy’s bag.

The accused, both realtors, had lent Rs 50 lakh to Venkat Reddy a few minutes
before attacking him in Autonagar.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Abdul Hameed alias Nayeem, Ali Bin Hamza Al Jabri alias Ali, Raheem Gori (absconding), Hamza Bin Omer Ali
Jabri alias Jaffar Pahilwan a rowdy sheeter and Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman alias
Fahad. “They were planning to flee to Dubai but our teams nabbed them in Injapur on Monday,” said D.S. Chauhan, Rachakonda police commissioner said
in a press meet.

Hameed, along with his associates Raheem Ghori Hamza and Fahad, a visa consultant, had planned their escape to Dubai even before the attack with the help of Fahad, who runs an air ticketing travelling agency in Old City, and were preparing travel documents, he said.

Police seized Rs 18 lakh, a Mercedes Benz (AP15BM8384), Yamaha Fascino bike (TS12ET9924), five mobile phones and xerox copies of passports.

“We will take all four into custody and demand to know from where they had got Rs 50 lakh,” Chauhan said.
