New Delhi: A 23-year-old man was killed allegedly by his elder brother on Monday in southwest Delhi's Chhawla area as he suspected him of having illicit relationship with his wife, police said.
Rakesh Kumar was killed by his elder brother, Pramod (25) in the wee hours of Monday after he hit him with an iron rod on his head, a senior police officer said.
Pramod told police that when he woke up at around 3:30 AM, he didn't find his wife in the room. He went on looking for her but couldn't find her, he said.
When he knocked at the door of Rakesh's room, it went unanswered for a long time. After persistent knocks, Rakesh opened the door and Pramod saw his wife in his brother's room, said the officer.
Seeing this, Pramod lost his temper but was pacified by his family following which everyone went back to their rooms.
However, he later killed Rakesh with an iron rod after which he was arrested, police said.
