A 4-year-girl was allegedly raped and murdered by a person known to the family late on Thursday at Tagguvaripalle.
Police said that the victim had gone with her parents and their Swaminathan acquintance to watch a movie.
TIRUPATI: A 4-year-girl was allegedly raped and murdered by a person known to the family late on Thursday at Tagguvaripalle of Bangarupalyam mandal in Chittoor. Police said that the victim had gone with her parents and their Swaminathan acquintance to watch a movie.
The accused offered to carry her home. When he did not reach their home, the parents complained to the police. Swaminathan was caught and confessed to the crime, police said.
