Chennai: The Mahila court, Chennai, has sentenced a 24-year old youth to undergo three years RI on charge of attempting to rape an 88-year-old woman four years ago.
According to public prosecutor, Srileka, was sleeping at home on April 3, 2015, when Saravanan entered the house and attempted to rape her. Police filed a case and arrested Saravanan.
Judge RN Manjula, sentenced Saravanan to undergo RI for three years and slapped a fine of Rs 30,000.
