Hyderabad: Heera Group managing director Nowhera Shaikh said that she and Mohammed Sanaullah Qureshi alias Salman, against whom she had lodged a complaint, had divorced two years ago.
Responding to a report in these columns, ‘Heera partners in row once again’ (Aug. 6), Ms Shaikh alleged that Salman had extorted 10 kg gold after kidnapping their girl child and threatening to harm her.
“What Salman’s father said, that it was a commission. He (Salman) never bought gold for me from Dubai. We have bills for every purchase and we have submitted them to the police. I have the call recordings of Salman’s threat and video footage of his brothers accepting the gold,” she claimed.
She said a case filed by MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi against the Heera group had been closed by the court due to lack of evidence. She claimed that nobody had protested before the Heera Group office.
