HYDERABAD: Task force sleuths arrested an Intermediate dropout, Khaja Muzammil Uddin, for practising as a dentist with fake certificates. When he was nabbed on Friday evening, police found around 50 patients were waiting for his consultation.
Police said Khaja had been treating patients in a private hospital at Falaknuma for three years after picking up hints during his stint as a dental assistant in a private hospital at Masab Tank for five years.
In 2020, with the help of his friend Syed Abdul Aslam, he procured a fake BDS certificate from the Karnataka State Dental Council and started practice on the basis of which the hospital had hired him. Police raided his room in the hospital and seized equipment, said task force DCP P. Radha Kishan Rao.
