Hyderabad: The court has postponed hearing on Shravil’s bail petition to Friday and remanded him till Saturday. He is the accused in an road accident that claimed two lives. Banjara Hills police produced him before Nampally court after his three-day custody.
K. Shravil, 20, is a student at the Keshav Memorial Engineering College. He was booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, arrested and sent to judicial custody.
Police examined the CCTV footage collected from a spot near the accident site and found that Shravil was driving the car at high speed.
“Vehicle movement is usually slow on Road No: 3 as there is heavy traffic but due to light traffic at the time of the incident, Shravil who was drunk drove the car at high speed causing the accident,” inspector K. Srinivas said. Shravil was shifted to Chanchalguda Central Prison.
