Hyderabad: Two persons were killed in accidents in the city on Thursday. Eighteen-year-old Mahesh was killed when his scooter rammed into a roadside tree in Keesara. A 30-year-old man was killed when an oil tanker hit him while he was crossing the road in Ghatkesar.
Police said, P. Mahesh 18, hailing from Warangal, was working for a private company in Keesara, and was staying at Timmay Palli village. On Wednesday midnight while he was going for work on his scooter, he lost control and rammed into a roadside tree in Yadgarpally village. He died on the spot.
In the accident at Ghatkesar, a man who was crossing the road was hit by an oil tanker. The victim suffered a serious head injury and died on the spot. The oil tanker driver fled from the spot immediately.
