Two injured in road accident at Medchal
Police has installed speed breakers near the spot to avoid further accidents.
Hyderabad: Two persons travelling on a bike were injured after a lorry hit them at Medchal on Monday. P. Arogyaiah, 76, and his relative M. Showraiah, 65, were injured in the incident that took place near a ready mix concrete plant. “After the driver fled the spot, relatives of the victims burnt tyres on the road demanding his arrest,” said Medchal police inspector S. Venkat Reddy.
Sub inspector Naidu said the lorry has been seized and the driver will be arrested by Tuesday. Police has installed speed breakers near the spot to avoid further accidents.
