Kannur: Pallur police has arrested three RSS workers in connection with the murder of CPM local committee member Kannipoyil Babu in Mahe. The arrested are Jerin Suresh (28) of Chendayad, Nijesh (35) of East Palloor and Sharath (25) of Panthakkal.
According to sources, the arrested were involved in the murder conspiracy and had made arrangements for the the same. Police sources said they have identified the persons who had executed the crime and many of them are already in custody. Among the arrested, Jerin Suresh’s marriage was fixed on Sunday and he was taken into custody in the early hours of the day in a secret move.
