BENGALURU: A 51-year-old woman contract labourer, who was sweeping the floor at Shivajinagar bus-stand, was mowed down by a BMTC bus early on Monday morning.
Sarojamma, a resident of RNS Palya in R.T. Nagar, was sweeping the floor at a platform when the bus driver, without noticing her, reversed the vehicle, killing her on the spot, the police said. The Shivajinagar police have detained the accused driver and seized the bus. A case was registered in Shivajinagar traffic police station.
