Man kidnapped by money lender rescued

HYDERABAD: Hrushikesh Behra, 35, working as a cashier for Jabbar Khan, a realtor, was allegedly kidnapped from the latter’s office at Somajiguda late on Tuesday.

Jabbar Khan lodged a complaint when Hrushikesh did not return to the office after Mazhar Khan, who had lent Rs. 1 lakh to Hrushikesh, took him out under the pretext of collecting money.

The police registered a kidnap case based on a complaint from Jabbar Khan, formed a special team and rescued Behra from a luxury hotel where he was kept captive. Mazhar Khan is still at large and a search to nab him is underway.
