Class VIII student falls from second floor, injured

Kakinada: A Class VIII student studying in a CBSE school at Peedatadepalli village of Tadepalligudem Rural mandal fell down from the second floor of her school.

The student fractured her leg, apart from suffering other minor injuries. She has been admitted to a private hospital.

Tadepalligudem Rural police station sub-inspector M. Raju said no complaint has been received from either the school management or parents.

There are two versions. One is that the student accidentally slipped from the second floor. The other is that the class teacher and principal reprimanded her for not doing her homework. She felt insulted and jumped from the second floor.
