Kurnool: A 65-year-old man was killed on the spot and his son was injured in a road accident near Gubagundam in Allagadda mandal on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Bala Ramudu from Machinenipalle village in Rudravaram mandal. He and his son Chinna Nagendra were on their way to Nandyal on a motorcycle when they were hit from behind by a car.
Ramudu died on the spot, while Nagendra sustained serious injuries. He was shifted to the government hospital for treatment. Allagadda police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
