Hyderabad: The police unravelled the mystery behind the death of a man that took place a few months ago under Kushaiguda police limits and arrested a minor girl – the victim’s daughter – along with three others on Saturday.
According to the police, the minor girl, who was in a relationship with a man, was scolded by her father who asked her to end the relationship. Enraged over this, the minor girl and her boyfriend hatched a plan to eliminate her father. On the day of the murder, the girl served her father and mother chicken curry mixed with sedatives. After having supper, both her parents fell into deep sleep and she informed her lover who came to her house along with two hired killers.
They strangulated the man in his sleep and left the place. The incident took place at Kapra in June this year. The Kushaiguda police registered a suspicious death case and took up investigation. During the probe, the police were shocked to find out that the victim’s minor daughter was the main accused in the case.
According to the police, the victim, Ramakrishna lodged a complaint against Bhoopal, the girl’s boyfriend and a resident of Narayanaguda, stating that the latter was harassing his daughter. Following the complaint, the police registered cases and arrested Bhoopal. Later, he was shifted to judicial remand. After being released from jail, Bhoopal met the minor girl and the both of them hatched a plan to eliminate Ramakrishna. For executing the plan, both hired a supari gang by offering some amount.
After killing Ramakishna by strangling him, they left the place. The next day, her mother got up and found her husband dead. The police were informed of the incident. The Kushaiguda police registered a suspicious death case initially and shifted the body to the mortuary for post mortem. Injuries were found on the neck of Ramakrishna and some excessive sedative content was found in her stomach.
Based on the report, the police questioned Ramakishna's wife and other family members. During the interrogation, Ramakrishan's wife confessed that her minor daughter committed the offence and the same was told by her daughter days after the incident took place. "The mother did not dare to reveal it to the police, keeping in mind her daughter's future. Already, the family head was murdered and family members are facing some financial issues," the police said.
Based on a confessional statement, the police arrested four persons including the minor girl and three accused and were shifted to judicial remand.
