Telangana: Dalit youth go missing from home

Nizamabad police commissioner Kartikeya visited Abhangapatnam on Monday and interacted with the family members of Rajeshwar.

Nizamabad: The whereabouts of two Dalit youths who were made to take a dip in a muddy pool is still not known. It is suspected that former BJP leader M. Bharath Reddy had whisked them away on Sunday from their Abhangapatnam village in Navipet mandal after the incident came to light. They were punished for questioning him about running illegal queries.

Nizamabad police commissioner Kartikeya visited Abhangapatnam on Monday and interacted with the family members of Rajeshwar. He also visited the mud water pond, where the victims forced to take dip by Bharath Reddy. Nizamabad assistant commissioner of police Sudarshan said the police was trying to trace out Rajeshwar and Laxman, the victims. The ACP camped in Navipet and was trying to collect details.
