Nizamabad police arrest killer of father and uncle
Hyderabad: A random clue from a villager, who spotted a ’new face' on the outskirts, helped the Nizamabad district police crack a double murder case and arrest the person who had allegedly killed his father and uncle. The accused Karrola Satish (29) killed his father Pedda Abbayya (64) and uncle Nadipi Sailu (54) at their house. He attacked his mother Laxmi and her sister-in-law Mounika but they managed to escape.
Nizamabad ACP A. Venkateshwar said Satish was arrested within 24 hours. "He was pressing his family to get him married but as he was jobless, they were not ready. In a fit of rage, he attacked them," the ACP said.
Police said that two days ago, Satish had told his family that he had fixed an alliance with a girl and they would visit on August 14 to discuss the marriage arrangements. The family members wanted to know how he would take care of the girl. That triggered the violence, police said.
It was while hunting for Satish that police were tipped-off by villagers about a new person moving in the neighbouring Sirpur village. Satish was traced to a temple and arrested on Saturday.
